Accepting this NumTracer privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) is a condition of using the numtracer.com service (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and use the personal and non-personal information of people who use the Service. It applies from the effective date shown at the top of this page.

NumTracer does not sell your personal information to third parties. If we ever want to use your data for a purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy, we will always ask for your consent first.

To that end, we put in place the technical and organizational measures needed to protect the personal data you provide against loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, and theft. These measures always take into account the current state of technology, the nature of the data, and the risks it is exposed to.

2. Information We Collect

To use the Service, you need to create a profile when you request NumTracer from a mobile device. The information we collect, whether personal or not, varies accordingly.

We obtain personal and non-personal information in three ways:

1. information collected automatically;
2. information you choose to give us; and
3. information we receive from third parties.

2.1. Information Collected Automatically

This includes:

• Information gathered through cookies or similar technologies stored on your device, always with your consent.
• Technical details such as:
  • the IP address you connect from;
  • the type and characteristics of your device;
  • your operating system version, browser type, and language;
  • the date, country, and time of your request;
  • the referring URL; and
  • the mobile network you are using, among others.
• Data on how you use the Service and on any errors detected while you use it.
• Information about your physical location, obtained through technologies such as GPS signals from your mobile device or data about nearby Wi-Fi access points and mobile phone towers. This information is always collected in line with your device’s privacy settings.
• numtracer.com may additionally use Google advertising tags (gtag) and ad-click identifiers for advertising measurement and conversion reporting, including conversion events we report to Google.

2.2. Information You Provide to Us

This includes:

• The information NumTracer needs to set up your user profile on the Service. At a minimum, you must complete the fields marked with an asterisk, which include your email address, phone number, first and last name, and payment details.
• The mobile phone number you want to locate, which you must also add. By doing so, you confirm that you obtained that number lawfully and with its owner’s prior consent.
• Any information, personal or otherwise, included in messages you send through the Service’s contact or feedback channels, such as your name, nickname, or email address.
• The email address you give us to sign up for our newsletter. If you use someone else’s email address, you confirm that you have their consent to do so.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure, and you will bear any damage that results from its misuse or from sharing it with third parties.

2.3. Information We Receive from Third Parties

This includes:

• Information from payment systems or card processors, such as when a purchase was made and for what amount.
• Information from courier companies, such as the time, place, and date of a delivery.

2.4. Information About People Who Receive a Location Request

If you receive a location request and agree to share your location, your device sends us automated information of the kind described in Section 2.1. It also sends your phone number and your precise location at the moment you agreed to share it.

Location sharing never extends beyond that specific moment of consent.

If you receive a location request and do not agree to share your location, your device still sends NumTracer automated information of the kind described in Section 2.1. It also sends your phone number and the name linked to that number.

Whichever applies to you, you can exercise your rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data at any time by emailing support@numtracer.com. Please identify yourself by including your full name and a copy of your national ID document.

3. Your Rights and Our Purposes

Filling in our forms is voluntary. However, if you leave any of the required fields (marked with an asterisk) empty, you will not be able to use the Service, or your use of it will be limited.

The personal data you provide will be included and processed in files owned by NumTracer. We use it so that we can:

• respond to your requests;
• deliver the service you have asked for; and
• keep you updated on matters relating to the company’s activities and services.

You can exercise your rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data at any time by emailing support@numtracer.com. When you do, please identify yourself by including your full name and a copy of your national ID document.

In accordance with applicable regulations, NumTracer undertakes to:

• keep the data in its files confidential;
• use it only for the purposes for which it was collected;
• meet its duty to safeguard it; and
• take the steps needed to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or unauthorized access.

4. Eligibility and Age

When you use the Service, you confirm that you have reached the age of majority. You also confirm that you have the legal capacity needed to be bound by this agreement and to use the site in accordance with its terms and conditions, which you fully understand and accept.

You also confirm that all information you provide in order to access the Service, whether before or while using it, is true, accurate, and complete.

5. How We Use Your Information

NumTracer uses the data it collects to:

• Operate, deliver, and update the Service.
• Carry out the location requests you make, provided the recipient has given their consent.
• Respond to your questions.
• Process your payments.
• Send you our newsletter and/or offers from our business partners by email, where you have agreed to this or where applicable law permits it.
• Plan and develop the Service’s commercial activities, such as advertising, whether directly or through third-party partners.
• Keep the Service secure, investigate unlawful activity, uphold our terms and conditions, and assist national law enforcement and security agencies with their investigations.

You can unsubscribe from our emails directly from the email, through your user account, or by contacting us at support@numtracer.com. However, you cannot opt out of certain messages from us, such as those concerning the security of your data or the Service’s terms and conditions.

NumTracer may also use users’ personal and non-personal information in aggregated, anonymized form and disclose it to third parties in that form. It may also share statistics and demographic information about users and how they use the Service. None of this will allow those third parties to identify you personally.

6. Deleting Your Account

You can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@numtracer.com.

If you choose to delete your account, all of your data, including backup copies, will be erased within 7 days at most.

7. Sharing Data with Third Parties

Some parts of the Service are managed by third parties.

NumTracer requires these third parties to comply with this Privacy Policy where it applies to them, in addition to their own privacy policies. However, NumTracer is not responsible for their compliance with those policies.

In certain circumstances, NumTracer may share some of the personal information it collects with third parties, or use or retain it, for the purposes below.

To provide the Service:

• We may share it with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as card payment processing, handling location requests, website hosting, business analytics, customer support, or marketing.
• These providers may collect and access the information they need to carry out those functions. They are not permitted to share it or use it for any other purpose.

To cooperate with the relevant authorities:

• Where we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with any law, legal process, or legitimate interest anywhere in the world. Even then, we will only disclose the information that is strictly required.

• Where it is necessary to detect or prevent fraud, or to address security concerns affecting NumTracer, its providers, or its users.

8. How We Protect Your Information

NumTracer takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security and integrity of the personal and non-personal information it collects. These measures protect it against unauthorized access as well as alteration, loss, or accidental destruction.

Data you send through the Service is protected by online security technologies such as the SSL protocol. The information supplied to and stored in NumTracer’s databases is likewise protected by security systems designed to keep unauthorized third parties out.

NumTracer makes every effort to keep its systems up to date so that these security measures remain effective. NumTracer also keeps personal and non-personal information for as long as applicable regulations permit and require, and regularly destroys information it no longer needs.
